Plug Framework

The first two generations tanks have a blocky, chamfered feel and that is the look I am after with this new tail

Production Tail

I have had some people requesting that I make them a Goldwing tail section similar to the ones I have made for my bikes. Now if I were to make a one off for someone it would be prohibitively expensive since I work slowly and it takes me about a million hours to make one of my tails. Some have even suggested that I take a mold off of one of my existing tails. The tails that I have made were not really designed to be copied since they don't draw in any direction and to make a copy, a multipart mold would be required
Sooo....I thought I would make a new tail with the intent of pulling a mold and copying it. This will require a shape that will draw to keep it to a one piece mold. I have decided to make the tail for a first or second gen Goldwing ('75-'79) and I want to make it compliment the two different tank styles

I have a '79 frame that I am using in the basement to start the tail plug since it is still too cold in the garage to work
