The initial shaping is done with a grinder with a coarse disk and a Dremel with a round stone. Nuts have been Bondo Glassed at the back to support the tail with bolts through the fender holes in the frame horns. They will be covered with Bondo on the outside. It's difficult to work on a fiberglass piece while holding it with one hand or clamping it to a table, so I made a platform to hold the tail. There is a support at the front that the tongue slides into and 2 supports at the back that can be bolted through into the nuts mentioned above
