I am rethinking the shock mounted LED tail lights. I want something more period looking so I went to Zdenos to see what they had in the way of interesting turn signals The only stipulation was: they had to have red lenses since they will be tail lights as well as turn signals. I didn't realize how few red lensed turn signals there are until I was digging through boxes of old turn signals. The vast majority are amber.  By chance they had a red lens that fits the stock Goldwing housing. This would be perfect; to use the stock turn signals except there was only one red lens at Zdenos and my right stalk is broken (the droopy one in the pic) so I would need to find another stock Goldwing turn signal. The other problems are: the stalks are on the long side and would stick out farther than I would like and the rear turn signals are 1156 sockets which means I would have to find two front stock Goldwing turn signals which have 1157 sockets since they are also running lights. It would also be difficult to make a mount for the turn signals since they are plastic and have a complicated rubber mounting system.
