The seat part of the tail can't be prefabed off the bike because the tank is up underneath the seat. Here the seat is plastered on the bike. The round indentations on the seat are for the T nuts that will secure the seat pan. The round indentations on the sides are for T nuts that will anchor the back of the tail with bolts through the fender holes on the horns. At the front, the sunken areas go down to the frame crossmember for support and the aluminum tongue I made that goes under the crossmember similar to the stock seat tongue. The square holes at the back of the seat go down to the frame to support this part of the seat
