The back of the LED board has been sanded flat and it has been mounted on the tail with the lens

Only the LED board and lens will be used. The giant housing will get tossed

This is the tail light I am going to use. It is an LED replacement truck tail light

The tail has been filled and sanded and is almost ready for primer. The fairing I'm not very happy with as it makes the bike look too tall so I'll set it aside for now

The fiberglass parts and plugs have been removed from the bike and now the finishing begins

Three layers of fiberglass mat have been laid. The rear supports can be seen just ahead of the butt stop

The fairing plug is done also but I'm not in love with it. It makes the bike look top heavy
