While the shelter is off I wired auxiliary sockets to the auxiliary terminal on the fuse block
Now I can plug in my GPS, phone and camera

Since I am going LED for the back lights, the old school flasher relay won't encounter enough resistance to operate properly. I could put resistors in the circuit like I see some people do and still use the old relay but it is much easier to just replace it with an electronic one

I found a 6 pin male connector that plugs into the stock wiring harness. This is temporarily wired to a trailer light converter which is temporarily wired to the 2 tail light/brake light/turn signals. I wanted to see if everything worked before I soldered it all together. Surprisingly, with my electrical track record, it worked the first time. The lights have tape all over them because I am in the middle of painting them. This is a story I will get to later

T-nuts are bolted to the fender mount holes and will be Bondo Glassed to the inside of the tail

I made a small bracket that attaches to the diff vent bolt, and I hope it doesn't spin into the wheel like a metal baseball card

My brother gave me a small fairing from a Buell so I tried it on the '80 and it fits like it was made for the bike
